Acrylic & Oil Workshop: June 22-23, 2019

"Colour Theory for the Figure Painter"

with Brian Smith

We have all had a class or two in colour theory, but how many actually understand how to put that knowledge into practice? This two day workshop will develop your understanding of the basics and the finer points of colour theory and, more importantly, how to apply that knowledge to the painting of the figure. The workshop is limited to 16 people.

Brian Smith has been both a professional, award-winning graphic designer and a practicing fine artist focusing on classical drawing and painting from the figure. His works are in collections across North America and he has exhibited in numerous juried and invitational shows.
